My name is Jeremiah Peter Butondo, and I was born on January 8, 2000, in Bariadi, Simiyu. From a young age, I showed a passion for learning and community service, which has shaped my journey thus far.

I began my educational journey at Kakora Primary School, where I studied from 2005 to 2011. It was there that I developed a strong foundation in academics and first learned the value of education. Following primary school, I attended St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School from 2012 to 2015. During my time at St. Thomas Aquinas, I further cultivated my interests and made lifelong friendships.

After completing my secondary education, I enrolled in St. James Kilolo Secondary School to pursue my advanced studies. This experience helped prepare me for my next educational chapter.

I then attended St. John’s University of Tanzania, where I earned an Ordinary Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science. My time at the university was instrumental in shaping my knowledge and skills in the field of pharmaceuticals, and it fueled my desire to make a difference in my community.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I am proud to be the founder of “Save Kids for Future,” a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the needs of children in our community. Through this initiative, I aim to provide resources and opportunities for young individuals to thrive, ensuring a brighter future for all.

As I continue on my journey, I remain committed to making a positive impact in my community and inspiring others to do the same.

Miss Neema Alphonce is shaped by purpose and fueled by the conviction that dignitybegins with opportunity. With a background in Political Science and Economic Diplomacy, her professional journey has woven through the corridors of international trade, legaladministration, and corporate communications not merely as a participant, but as a strategist committed to amplifying impact where it’s needed most.

From overseeing institutional governance to mobilizing community awareness campaigns, her leadership style is intentional, inclusive, and unshakably ethical. Her current role as Executive Secretary at Save Kids For Future is more than a title—it is a testament to her calling. She is the organizational heartbeat behind a movement that defends the right of every child to grow, learn, and thrive in an environment free from neglect, violence, and limitation. She has been pivotal in developing the organization’s framework to advocate for early childhood care, youth talent development, reproductive health education, and grassroots entrepreneurship.

What distinguishes Neema is not just her professional experience but her essence: she listens deeply, acts deliberately, and envisions expansively. She believes that true development must be holistic, human-centered, and anchored in justice. Her leadership was shaped by the very gaps she now seeks to close: structural inequities, lost potential in bright youth, and systems that overlook the smallest voices. Neema aspires to build Save Kids For Future into a regional model of transformative action, and to help reshape public policy in Tanzania so that social inclusion is not an aspiration, but a national standard.

Born on February 13, 1999, I am a dedicated educator and program coordinator with a passion for fostering positive change in the community. Growing up in a family of four children, my educational journey began at Lyoto Primary School in 2005. I then progressed to Lyoto Secondary School in 2012, followed by Southern High Midland High School from 2016 to 2018.

In 2018, I enrolled at Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education in 2021. Alongside my formal education, I have pursued various online courses to expand my knowledge and skills. Notably, I completed a comprehensive course in Sexual Education from UNESCO in collaboration with the University of Dar es salaam, as well as several courses offered by UNICEF.

In 2021, I further enhanced my expertise by completing a course in digital journalism from Reuters. This knowledge has informed my teaching practice, which spans several schools from 2021 to 2023. In 2022, I took on a significant role as a Program Coordinator at Save Kids for Future, where I work to create sustainable programs and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of children in our community.

I am committed to lifelong learning and making a meaningful impact through education and advocacy.

Originally from Québec, Canada, I have a background in engineering and over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and public building construction. Throughout my career, I’ve been involved in large-scale projects, combining technical precision with a strong commitment to quality and sustainability.

Driven by deep humanitarian values, I have also dedicated part of my life to humanitarian aid, notably with Doctors Without Borders, Red Cross and Save the Kids for Future. These field experiences have shaped my global perspective and strengthened my desire to contribute to a more equitable world.

I’m Katie Burd, the founder and director of The McDade World Foundation, based in Buffalo, New York, USA. I established the foundation in early 2023 after a life-changing experience volunteering in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. In addition to contributing to wildlife conservation efforts, I had the opportunity to work with local primary-aged students. Seeing the world through their eyes profoundly impacted me and inspired me to create a foundation dedicated to supporting communities across Africa. The McDade World Foundation is named in honor of my parents, who instilled in me a deep commitment to service throughout my life. Since its founding, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with organizations like Our Hearts for Africans in Uganda and Save Kids for Future in Tanzania.

My journey to this chapter of my life began with many years in public service. As a local political leader, I championed initiatives to support schoolchildren and led community development projects, including a thriving farmers market that promotes health and wellness. During this time, I also dedicated several years to coaching and empowering women to run for elected office. This initiative was driven by my belief in the importance of diverse representation in leadership roles. Supporting these women as they pursued their goals was a rewarding chapter of my journey and reinforced my commitment to fostering equity and opportunity in all areas of life. I also spent eight years serving on the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library board of trustees, one of the largest library systems in the United States, where I advocated for the essential role of libraries in our communities.

I’m passionate about social justice and believe in the power of unity to create a more sustainable future. I’m also the mother of three adult children, who have taught me so much about love and resilience. Outside of my work, I’m an avid runner currently training for an international marathon in 2025. My hope is to continue growing my foundation one project at a time as I travel the world, walk in the shoes of others, offer love, understanding, compassion, and support. I’m deeply grateful for the life I’m living.
